I have 10+ years of combined experience in research, product development, and project management from Industry and Research Labs across India and Canada. Currently, I am working as a Project Manager at IIT Hyderabad, India for an autonomous vehicle project funded by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan since May 2023. I hold multiple responsibilities such as architecting and implementing various scenarios for V2X communication - AI - System on Chip to develop a multi-hop system using cars through Qualcomm’s 14nm Quectel Chip hardware board and Suzuki Life software application; lead and manage cross-functional team of Postdocs, PhD candidates, Research Consultants, Research Assistants, Developers and Engineers; provide mentorship to the team to achieve the deliverables; plan and develop the project goals and timelines; lead and organize project meetings, demos, testing with all the stakeholders; liaise among Suzuki (Japan & India) – Soar Robotics (Turkey & India) – Research Consultants (USA); prepare and present project status – week/bi-week/quarter.
I am also contributing as a Research Consultant in the areas of Electronics, Semiconductor, and Management since Nov 2023. I have specifically contributed to ‘Neuromorphic Computing Market Global Forecast 2029’ for Markets and Markets in July 2024. I am currently involved in solving issues related to ‘Neuromorphic and Neuro AI’ through a neuromorphic community project starting Nov 2024. Also, I am continuously working with International Journals and Conferences such as IEEE and Springer to deliver my expertise as TPC member, speaker, and reviewer. I am also an author/co-author of multiple publications in IEEE, Taylor & Francis, Springer, and IGI Global.
My professional journey had been fascinating where, I got the opportunity to work with several intellects and projects from North America, EMEA, and APAC. Prior to my recent positions, I served on the following roles and responsibilities. From 2019 to 2023, I was a Research Scholar at BITS Pilani, Goa, India under Prof. Abhijit Pethe for research on Neuromorphic Circuits and Emerging Memory Devices; teaching assistant for Digital Design, Analog Design, and Microprocessors and Microcontrollers; mentor to UG/PG students on Neuromorphic Computing, Emerging Memories. From 2016 to 2018, I worked as Product Strategy Lead at Mosaic, London, Canada to lead and manage various telecommunication products. From 2016 to 2017, I contributed as a Research Assistant at the Western University, London, Canada under Prof. Anestis Dounavis for System on Chip Design. During 2016, briefly worked as Technical Engineer at SD International, London, Canada on telecommunication products. From 2014 to 2015, worked as Senior Technical Engineer at Avaya, Hyderabad, India on various telecommunication and networking products. From 2011 to 2012, I joined as Trainee Engineer at Anewa, Hyderabad, India for design and detailed engineering projects.
My qualifications include PhD (Neuromorphic Computing) from BITS Pilani, Goa, India; Post Graduation (Project Management) from Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, London, Canada; M.Tech (Embedded Systems) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, India; B.E. (Electronics & Instrumentation) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.
I have received multiple awards during my industry and academic tenure.
